Lovely wool, great customer service too!

This is such a useful tool - my husband used it on a favourite jumper he's had for a while & was so impressed by the result. It's completely rejuvenated his jumper which he'd contemplated binning as it was so pilled.

I’ve always wanted to do a fade on a shawl, and I needed to knit something up for the a friend. Perfect yarn for that. It’s chunky so knits up super fast, and is so warm and cuddly. The fade is gradual and subtle.

It was a pleasure to spend some time with the helpful staff at Wool on the Exe. Their advice was appreciated as I am a rusty knitter and never knew there could be so much different and amazing wool available! I ended up with a completely different jumper pattern to knit in a totally unplanned colour. It's going well so far.

Tencel is a lovely yarn, very similar to silk in many ways and, blended with soft wool it produces a yarn suitable for any knitting/crochet products whilst retaining the subtle sheen and wonderful drape of Tencel. A great range of colours. I will be back for more of this!

Staff in the store were, as usual, very welcoming and helpful. My query was dealt with promptly and efficiently and with warmth. The voucher was easy to purchase and the staff member took the time to print out a paper copy so that it could easily be included in a gift. Always a pleasure to shop in Wool on the Exe.

Soft bouncy yarn despite a high twist and price. Love knitting with it. I put the light lilac with Noro Ito to highlight the short row blocks. I also used your WYS Croft DK light grey blue for the pop rows an pods on the bottom Papillon/moth by MarinJaKnits

I don't usually use wooden needles but wanted some to take through airport security. These needles were an excellent purchase, as smooth as the metal needles I prefer; and importantly airport friendly.

The superb colour of the coral crush & the excellent quality of the ColourLab DK has meant I am more than half way to making my very large bullfinch granny square blanket - thank you

Having seen a post on Facebook and knowing i was near by for my holiday, so decided I liked the pattern in the window and would like to purchase it.
The shop was laid out beautiful and easy to find things, plus the ladies were so helpful cheerful full of smiles .
A great visit and will definitely go again next year .
