Have not started to use this yarn yet as I wanted to open the skeins & let them relax for a day or two before winding into centre pull balls, have now made one ball by winding on a Nostepinne, ( homemade one..a card tube)…this yarn feels wonderful very soft & luxurious…I can already tell it’s going to knit or crochet really well.

I attended Trudi’s workshop and now I’m totally hooked on knitting! Trudi explained everything so clearly and the whole experience was so positive. Everyone at Wool on the Exe is so kind and welcoming and I would encourage anyone to give knitting a go. I am now doing the Knit Stop workshop and learning to knit a bobble hat. I’m so happy to have discovered Wool on the Exe - thank you to everyone involved in this special community.

I had such a helpful session with Jackie yesterday. I’m a new knitter and Jackie was so patient and helped me fix my mistakes. I was on the point of giving up but Jackie has totally turned things around and I’m now feeling proud of my work! Thank you so much Jackie and I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who needs a bit of a helping hand 😊🧶

I had a lot of help and attention when choosing the wool

I am using this wool to crochet some socks. It produces a lovely marbled effect, not stripes. Being Dk, it is growing quickly and will be warmer and cosier than 4-ply.

Im sure I’ll enjoy the workshop when it happens next month!
