The Hexa Cardigan Project
The Hexa Cardigan Project
Quantity Remaining: 4 4
Tired of the same old cardi or want to move your crochet skills into the fashion world to create a bespoke garment, then this workshop is for you!
Using a simple design, you will learn to create a unique, child-sized garment which can be scaled up to fit an adult.
You will be be taught how to construct two hexagonal blocks to form the foundation of the cardigan and how to join these and finish the garment with edging and cuffs.
The sizing can easily be adjusted and details of how to do this will be included in the workshop.
You must be confident in using the basic crochet stitches (slip, chain, double, treble - back post and front post stitches are used for cuffs and are therefore optional) and have practised them recently. There will not be time to revise stitches or relearn technique.
All yarn will be provided however you will need to bring along a 5.0 mm crochet hook.
This workshop is led by Verity Treloar. You are welcome to bring a lunch with you or we can recommend a few good area restaurants.
