Loch Lomond is a typical British tweed yarn with a big difference. First, it's woollen spun at the mill to give it exceptional loft and ample yardage. This results in very light garments that you'll love more each time you wear them.  Secondly it's GOTS certfified. This means that from sheep to dye stuff, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards. A yarn you can definitely feel good about wearing.

  • Needle: 4-5 mm
  • Gauge: 18 stitches = 10 cm

Wonderful yarn

I've just knitted a modern aran style jumper for my son in this - mainly double moss stitch, with some cabling. It was fabulous to knit with - really good quality with no knots part way through the skein and a lovely tweed. The stitches are clear but soft and the drape is great. Lovely vibrant colours too. Highly recommend!

Love love love this yarn, the true beauty really comes out when you've finished your garment and block it, the cardi I made draps beautifully and is so warm and snuggly

Gorgeous !

How lovely to be able to knit with such a beautiful and ethically produced yarn. It doesn’t have that ‘worthy’ but rough, dull coloured association there can sometimes be with the natural, organic yarns. This one comes in a range of lovely colours and is knitting up gorgeously, true to a DK weight.
